Of course players that only win will only be looking at things that would make them lose.

Every single tournament he's the first player in the following factions:
Dwarf, Elf, Barbarian, Dark elf.
This is making it way to hard for other people to even achieve the top 3.. So why would they even bother to try it?

After 70 wins its not about the strongest, smartest and best prepared players, you guys just want to win because there is no other option as you see it. But after all, this new ''ST'' might be the same for you, even though you will lose every now and then, you will still win allot because you have the skills for it. Atleast you will be giving a chance to other players.

Of course? Thats the deal? Luck, tactics, faith? Thats what will make sure ALLOT of people will try, because EVERYONE has about as much chance to achieve this goal?
Nowadays 50% of the players of lordswm don't even try to make a effort for this.
I get the point were slayerofall and Baweja are comming from, always top 3, so yeah for you guys it would be weird and less gold income if you'd lose.
What if, next ST you won't get luck, but one completely different player wins for one time, how awesome would that be? Isn't that right there the biggest stimulance a player can get to play more often ST?
Isn't that what this game is about? Oferring ST prices/icons to EVERYONE?
I think you guys can't imagine how happy one would be by winning this ST once because he had just all the luck on his side? How proud would this person be? How cool will he think the icon looks on his profile?
And last but not least, how many times will this person keep trying to achieve the same thing again? You will have allot more ST players on EACH level. What will make sure the prices are bigger and perhaps even the top 5 will gain 10% of the price.
Now its like 7 players from 12+.. You for reall think this is fun Slayerofall? Its like its a personal tournament for the people that spent euros and much time at the game because no matter what, they'd win anyways.
I ask myself, are you guys seriously blind? Check the latest tournament and count how many players time after time stop doing ST.
Well, after the count you always end up with the same people winning.
Sorry no, its not fun like that. After 10 more ST there only will be 3 persons that participate, the top 3, because the rest of it bailed knowing they would lose anyways.

Thats what its all about. Who knows if this changes perhaps there will be allot more .com players, this could be an extra fun fact for everyone, and would really benefit this game as there will be allot more players. |

Then person x wins, then person y wins and maybe then again person x. Or again someone strange ;D

Doomstjohn deserves those wins as he is a great tactician, I used to suck at ST, then i started thinking about it and I started beating him on lv 11 in elf faction when we were both that level. It can be done. Stop whining about it and actually work to achieve something instead of having everything placed in your lap. First thing, the one who is whining is you.
It is one thing to criticize a mans opinion, like I did with you. If you criticize a fact then you're just stupid.
Your opinion was that only those who play like ''freaks'' and do nothing else then buy diamonds, have allot of time and being doing this for allong time have the only right to achieve this goal.
So it is my good right to criticize you're opinion. Thats not whining.
I gave facts, about the player activity at Survival tournaments. If you can't see that ST is bleeding to death then you're not that smart at all.
These are facts, you can't just try to 'whin' a way around them.

Didn't knew that intelligent was buying diamond upgrades.. But ah, whatever ;D | | 1 attempt for each faction ) without skill :P | Doing one attemp only greatly increases the randomness of the outcome, for instance by moral/luck/critical/special ability triggering.
Furthermore people knowing the waves have a huge advantage over players who don't know them.
So if you have a friend who is willing to tell you,then you will almost certainly win against someone going blindly.
In sum this of course would lead to different player winning because chance will have a greater impact.
But why should I seek to determine the winner of a tourney by chance? If I go by this logic I could increase the chance outcome even more by drawing a random number of all participants. Then everyone participating would have a "fair" chance to win the price.
In my opinion the winner of a tourney should be determined by skill (tactics, strategy) and determination (time spend to plan his moves and preparation)
To me the opposite sound much like: "I cant win on my own. Despite this fact I still want to have a "fair" chance to win. Therefore random should have a bigger impact so I can have a chance to win against players which I can't beat in a fair competion."
The problem is not in the players who try hard to win, but in those surrendering to their competitor instead of improving their skills.

When you have no opponents left and the prices will be low because not many players join. There's got to be something that can be done against this..
An I see that you're the third that things if ST changes it will be rather luck then strategy. Its still about strategy AND luck AND moral. Why do we have moral and luck in this game as you guys claim ''its not fair''?

If the allied forces didn't have that much luck in W02 with DDAY we'd still be speaking German these days. Ohh but that doesn't count because the germans had better tactics, better moral and better gear.

Yes thats what I said earlier. What are you going to do to improve people not to surrender? I have been playing for more that 23 STs
Look at the medals - Only 6
Rings any bells ?
Slayer and lighting were my competitors most of the STs
They always used to win
But i never whined, instead I learn their style and made few additions and at least I reached some where near them

Keep whining and playing until u win an ST, then read ur posts again
U will see that u are ur own's enemy and weakness, no one else. | I just don't get it... I find the current system perfect, except for the incentive distribution.
If the winners have enough skills to win over again and again, and you DONT have the skill to beat them, then I guess a tournament is a place where this fact should be accepted, and one should try harder next time to be at the top.
I'm sure if u were the one on the winning streak, u wouldn't have opened the suggestion. :)
