If you brand an item, it'll add your name to the item if you enchant it. It is like an advertisement, whoever will click on the art will come to know that you have made those enchants.
The brand option is for the enchanter to place his name (hyperlink) directly onto the art. The purpose can be for advertising or being able to associate or prove a particular art was enchanted by a certain individual.
