IS this artifact worth buying? Its cost exceeds its advantage by far. | Yes it is.
Why ? Because it is better than the previous.
Where it's useful ? Only in battles where you need to go full AP, like events or tournaments. | or CG :-) | Its also have many durability . See this for more information :-

Can u tell me how ?
For me, its the best shield till CL 12 | Yes, for full AP.
If for min ap, then ofc no. All high level arts are expensive. | Actually, I guess your comparison must be based on this factor:
Defender Shield:
Cost per battle - 27.05
Parameters Increased - Def +3
Dragon Shield:
Cost per battle - 142.17
Parameters Increased - Atk +1, Def +4
So you are saying something like Dragon Shield costs about 5.25 times more than defender shield but provides only 1 attack and 1 defense more than it. But you must consider the space an artifact occupies. Yes, defender shield is a lot cheaper but you can wear only 9 items with you at a time. So this increased cost is because you can get those extra parameters within one single space itself. Yes, if you could stack up the arts, then of course, dragon shield would have been useless, but it is not the case here. | To further clarify my previous response:
Think of it like enchantments or faction bonus. It gets progressively more expensive for each additional notch of benefit. This is why in the beginning it is very much worth it, but while later on the advantages aren't as important.
But everything is subjective. If you're only using low level cheap arts, ofc the dragon shield will look like a very expensive upgrade when compared to the defender shield. But if your other 8 arts are expensive (maybe even enchanted), then upgrading your shield from defender to dragon suddenly looks very cheap. |
