No. The portals on the map can be used to get places faster, but you may still walk to those locations on foot. They require a payment of 1 toadstool per trip to use.
If you use a portal in one of those regions, you can travel to any of the other 3 portals placed around the map. |
hmm... but i wanted to travel from peacefull camp to port city with my horse and it didnt respond at all.. or was i just impatient?
i used the portal in Eagle Nest to Mithril Coast.. couldnt understand the text cause it hasn't been translated yet..
ah well.. I'll survive 1 toadstool. |

That should have worked. Did you click on port city and then press the complex route button (this is the one in the center of the windrose with the horse on it? |

Seeing as complex route works for me and I can travel to those portal areas on foot, we might as well put it down to the lag the server was experiencing before.
