I was wondering...

It seems pretty hard to beat the Caravans without decent arts on.

So am I going to run out of money at some point?
If you enter TG by paying diamonds.. then yes, profit at 5 guild level is obvious.
So if we don't count for the thief invitation one gets at level 5, it is not profitable right?
nothing in this game is profitable apart from enrolling ^^

Man, we have to count that.

Gold wise it might not be worth it but the % initiative you get for TG-levels and the nice fsp-ratio (with the new caravans, old were meh...) makes it worth it in overall gameplay for me.

For some reason the option to set an ambush has dissappeared from my map screen. Any ideas why?

you have to wait until 17:21
The only profit in TG - many fsp and nice bonuses. You can only keep balance between prices for victories and gold for artifacts. That final charges = 0 Hmm...the dwarfs can have some profit - cause they are cheaters in TG) The dwarfs can win most types of caravans with small set of artifacts.

At some point, your win/loss ratio will become stable because of the way losses and wins effect caravan difficulty. Once you have a decent TG level, if you do min arts and don't get too many player controlled caravans, you would make a small profit.

seems liek everyone is forgotting tg arts by jsut selling em and having decent win lose ratio you should make a penny + even if you dont wanna count that tgi selling that is the think witch makes the profit its an long term invest.. i chanced 2 days ago from de to steppebarbs and i'm winning em quite nicely with min ap so jsut work on your tactics..

That's right. More AP just give you better chance to gain more fsp for your defeat what makes caravans strenght lower. But remember there is some point where caravans cannot be weakened anymore and that's why high level players with high TG can't win in min AP (OK, maybe they can when they play fsl 12 faction but still it is maybe 1 win out of 30 combats) :)

Based on what Arctic wrote in his guide, the answer is yes. I just still wonder whether the weakening/strenghtening is only in AP of caravan hero or also number of troops is influenced? Arctic wrote only about caravans stats but I am tracking my caravans stats and no difference yet :) Maybe I need more wins/losses.
