Author | About getting arts fixed... |
I have a broken ruby gladius... now i was thinkin about how much can the difference be when i directly sell it and buy new sword, or get it repaired..
4-5k difference isnt worth the trouble... is there a way i know the approx difference in values? |
well in rent shop is 40 precent higher prices than its actual use cost so with using some math you could do it yourself? |
@napalmi, basically i wanted a faster way than using my math... But I'm not yet sayin my math sucks,... Just this isnt once in a time case, so i'd like some clarity..) |
Selling the art of would be better as you get back approximately 69% of the original art costs
If you compare with renting method, it would be still better to own that art..After dura reached 0, sell it to get back costs. Personally i did some maths that there will be 2-3k cheaper than renting |
well it took 10 secs, 18140 golds to use from 70 to 0 so repairing it is bad idea |
No one will ever repair shop art unless it is an enchanted weapon/armor :) |
... or 0 arts in stock |
perfect....thanks. |
In a quick way if i have the right prices and you have a Ruby Gladious:
Total Cost (new) : 52295
Total uses (new) : 70
CPB : 258,5
Total Uses: 258,5 x 70 = 18095
Sell price at 0/70 : 33962
Repairing Cost : 20680
So assuming a 90% repair cost and 100% cost:
Total uses ( 1st repair ) : 63/69
Sell price at 0/69 : aprox. 33476 ( not sure about it )
NEW CPB: ( 33962 - 33476 + 20680 ) / 69 = 306 gold / battle
So its more profitable buy a new sword
If you repair 80% at 70% cost:
Sell price at 0/69: 33476
Uses: 56/69
Repairing cost: 70% of 20680 = 14476
CPB = ( 33962 - 33476 + 14476 ) / 56 = 267,17 Gold / Battle
Still no profitable at his rate.
I send some cheap arts to a friend for repairing but more for help him to build his Smith than for save money.
Not a 10 secs math but hope this help ;) |
