Cas as soon as we use it , the candy vanishes
Even if we look at our character info it doesn't say anything like
"New Year candy.........." |

You will not get anything by eating the new year sweets if it expired.
I had tried it during 4x4 battles but i got no additional bonus.
If we use the expired sweet then it just disappear without giving any bonus.
and yes you can join torny as it don't give any effect not even the ap. |
