Which buildings of the castle do I have to build in order to be able to play easy hunts or MQ for lvl 14?

I want to calculate how expensive it would be to build some resists.
You need the whole basic castle, including fort and citadel. Of course you can choose if you buy the warehouse / market / blacksmith and upgrades and the magic guilds if you don't need them. You don't need the upgrades, or at least not all upgrades, some are quite useful.

I don't think you need the level 7 tier. Not sure how this exactly works though.
Q.1.6: I have changed faction, and now the game won't let me join group combats, ambush players etc. What is wrong?

A: You must recruit army of at least [your combat level - 1] to be accepted to challenges. Creature upgrades are not compulsory, but Fort and Citadel must be built at appropriate combat levels. (Rally talent may allow fighting without these)

for hunts and mercernary quests you can start the battles with an empty castle
(e.g. gremlins and gargoyles). However if you want to do anything that involves another player (asking for assistance, assisting,ambushing, pvp, etc etc) you will need an almost full castle.
