It seems to be possible to oberbid yourself on market, on auction.
Is it a bug or feauture?
If it is a feauture, then this is a -very- bad feauture - hey, why should i want to buy an artifact for higher price, when i can buy it cheaper ?? make no sense in my eyes (for example on ebay you can make your bet higher, but the current auction-price wouldn't rise if you make your new bet lower, than your maximal bet), i think it's rather unfair!

It is a feature. You may want to push up your bid price higher at the beginning of the auction to deter players from even considering bidding on the item.
Put simply. Do not bid against yourself if you do not wish to raise the price. |

This is irrelavent. This is talking about aditional characters not being allowed to bid in the same auction lots as main characters.
Main characters are allowed to outbid their old bid again if they so wish.

Not necessarily. The administration should not have to write down every single piece of information regarding game features etc.
If every piece of information was written down, you would no longer be playing the game for yourself but simply following instructions. ;)

They are referring to the fact that it is not at all possible for the author to take part in auctions they have created. It is not that it isn't allowed, but that it isn't possible. |
"The Author cannot take part in Auctions he or she created.", hmm, but on .ru-version of "About the game" every sale is written as "direct ...", (direct ordinary sale / direct buyout sale / direct fixed sale) below it is written that the author can't participate in "direct" auctions, so after this rule, i can't even buy my lot by myself.
So i think there is a little mistake with translation, because on .com is wriutten that it is forbidden to participate at own auctions, but there is nothing said about "direct sale"... |
Not necessarily. The administration should not have to write down every single piece of information regarding game features etc., but it's important, in my opinion its necessary. The rules should be in such way been changed, that i can deduce this information from them. (clearer definitons please !) Now i can't deduce it!
The buyer can take part in auctions, increasing bids gradually , yes ok, but in my eyes a little bit ...wishy-washy-formulation = nothing said that i can overbid my self |

Since when were we discussing rules?
Let me summarise this topic now:
1) It is a game feature that you can outbid yourself.
2) This does not need to be written down. Not everything should.
3) By not writing this down, it does not affect any written rules.
4) The Author cannot take part in Auctions he or she created - This is not a rule. It is just saying that it is impossible to do so. It is not written on the rules page.
5) Additional characters may not bid on the same auction lot as main characters.
6) You are allowed to purchase your own items from the market.
The game is full of positive and negative learning experiences. Today you learned that you can overbid yourself in auction. In the future, you will probably not make the same mistake again. |

About additional account - it's clear. They cannot interact with main one.
But, i think, you can't bid Your own auction.
Why? Because this is not fair when you evade to sell your item, or bid you auction to increase price. |
