| The description in Artifact Shop is not helpful for me to understand the exact purpose of it. | If your faction skill level is much lower than the FSL of current faction any current combat participant (of no higher combat level only), that potion will make your FSL = FSL of enemy - 1.
You are a CL 11 Knight with FSL 8. If you drink a PoS now, you will have to expect someone of CL 11 in your battle have at least FSL 10, which is extremely rare, like one in a billion :-P In that hypothetical case, your FSL in that combat would be equal to 9, which would give your troops +1% ini, +1 att, +1 def (see difference between FSL 8 and 9: https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=10 ) AND some extra troops if you have the Training chambers built: https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=38
It is of no great use to you if you do not plan to change faction.
But if you do, drink PoS immediately for that faction. Despite it being level 0, in actual combats you will always have it 1 level lower than the maximum among all. | Wow interesting potion.
But, complicated to manage.
