I am sorry but I have to do that because it is one of the few ways I can highlight my text. Since I cannot use "bold" or <b>...</b> or "underline" <u>...</u> in the forums, Some words in caps effectively help in drawing users attention. And I only highlight important things.

Its good to see that at least someone is seeing your work even if its a moderator. xD

You made a mistake in In Britain there’s the Loch Ness Monster.
Loch Ness is actually in Scotland and not in Britain which comprises of England and Wales.
Alternately you could have correctly used:
• Great Britain (Scotland, England & Wales), or
• United Kingdon which is Scotland, England, Wales & Northern Ireland, or
• British Isles which are Scotland, Irelend, England, Wales & Northern Ireland
It is a bit like saying that any of the 23 countries in North America (e.g. Canada, Cuba, Bahamas etc are American).
Interesting lists though.

And I only highlight important things. I hardly think saying you are going to post in thread again is really that important that it needs special emphasis? As soon as you make a further post people will see it, they dont need advance warning so that they can prepare themselves. |

I didn't get it.
I am trying to post as much as I can but I only want to post quality lists. I will prefer taking a week to think over an excellent topic rather than posting crappy things like "Top 10: blah! blah! blah!" which are of no use neither to community nor to my potential readers.
And about "highlighting"- It makes text appear clear rather than concentrating them at a place. If I were not to use CAPS & GAPS then most of the readers will flea away from the thread post due to lack of presentation resulting in high bounce rate(Irrelevant here). Moreover it would be deteriorating my presentation skills as well.
If the data is presented skillfully then it will increase your readers because most people first check presentation then quality and at last quantity.
Like for example imagine the sales of Burger King(or any other fast food chain) if they had shown their real whoopers in the ads.

I didn't get it.
It means that if someone is interested in your thread, he/she will visit your thread expecting new posts already. So, it doesn't make any difference if you had used bold letters or not. But if someone is not interested in your thread, then it doesn't matter if you write in bold letters or not they won't visit your thread at all.
So, you can say that no matter you use bold letters or not, people will never know if you used bold letters in your posts until they visit your thread 1st.
Besides, in my opinion it doesn't look good to keep using the bold letter in your posts.

Working on my new post: "TOP 10: ..." something related to power, destruction and all. It may be boring but my other readers want me to post about this ^^

Just to clarify things on #8 of your top 10 weird and scary creatures.
Aswang is a general term used to describe some creatures of the dark that drink human blood and sometimes human flesh. Like vampires, manananggal and those that turn into animals (usually a black dog). The one in your image link is a manananggal. |

Actually Aswang, Vampires and manananggal all are the same category creatures. Since there is no evidence of them so one cannot easily judge them.
In my opinion it might be that they are all same but there description are different. I might be incorrect but I will search later on.
And one more important thing I am not posting anything since I m hospitalized so I cant do anything atm. Sorry guys! :( |
