Author | Divine retribution - how is the damage calculated? |
Does anyone know how the damage is calculated of this spell? Especially when it is cast by thrones.
Thanks in advance. |
Maybe (and I stress, MAYBE) it's this - http://angelsndemons.freeforums.org/post1143.html#p1143
Have not done any test or calculation in battle yet, so someone may need to verify it. ) |
for Sir Jedi Knight:
Thanks. I heard about this equation before, but there is no factor about spell power in it. Or... is it totally unrelated to spell power or number of thrones that cast the spell? |
I believe they deal damage with thier divine retribution based on how much damage the target stack has inflicted.. That is why in ST when 1 throne casts on a stack of vamps that has made it 20+ waves, it deals 2k+ damage to them :) |
for slayerofall:
so you mean it doesn't matter how many thrones cast this spell, it will always deal the same damage? |
I think it based certain formula to calculate damage
From my observation, damage will higher if your throne perished more
I used Archangel to revive it and it deal 580 damage to drake |
here is what i copy from the homm page
The damage inflicted depends on the target's "frags": the number of creatures killed multiplied by their tier. For example, killing 5 peasants gives 5 frags, while killing 1 Paladin gives 6 frags. Killing a summoned creature gives no frag.
In the damage formula, F is the square root of the target's frags.
no talent: F*(Power+10) basic: 3*F*(Power+10) advanced:4*F*(Power+10)
Expert: 6*F*(Power+10)
please take is as reference since there maybe some alter make by admin |
