I have a few questions regarding the working of the two:
Stun
1) Does it depend on the number of creatures in a stack?
For example does the probability of it triggering be higher if I have 100 skele legs or will it be same even for 1?
2) Does it affect Large creatures?
3) How far does it push the enemy on the ATP scale? Is this too dependant on the number of creatures in stack?
4) Can the probability of it occuring be increased in a battle?
Contamination:
1)When a creature is next to the ghoul stack and is hit. Does it retaliate with -4 att and def or does normal retaliation.
2)When a hostile creature next to a ghoul moves away to attack my another stack ( say vampire) which is far away, does it still does -4 attack?
3) What are the chances of freezing with fear? Is it same as triggering morale boost when enemy has +1 morale?
Shield Allies:
1) By 'adjacent' does it mean that skele legs only has be right next to the creature? Can the skele legs stand up and left or right or down-left-right of the creature such that it is still in contact?
2) Is it cumulative? If two stacks of skele stand left and right of liches will the liches suffer 25% less + another 25% less ranged damage?
3) is it dependant on stack size?
Thank you and sorry for so many questions :) | You can find most (or even all) answers here:

Stun:
1) yes, for Stun, the probability is calculated using HP's of stacks before the actual attack.
2) yes
3) depends on the accumulated initiative of the target stack, not sure if you can calculate it. Not dependant of number in stack.
4) for all triggering spells, the soldiers luck talent gives you another roll for the calculation. It basicly doubles your chance.
Contamination:
1) only if it's not undead (so enemy and friendly creatures).
2) only adjacent creatures get this, once they move away, the effect is gone
3) depends on the original morale of the creature of course, a creature with 3 morale will still have +1 morale. In case they have -1 morale, the effect has the same chance to trigger as morale for a creature with +1 morale.
Shield allies:
1) adjacent means it has to be on a tile next to it, doesn't matter up, down, left, right or diagonal, as long as they have "contact".
2) not cumulative
3) not dependant on stack size, 1 skel leg is as good as 100 for this ability | Stun
1) Does it depend on the number of creatures in a stack?
For example does the probability of it triggering be higher if I have 100 skele legs or will it be same even for 1?
It depends on the HP of the stack in relation to the HP of the target.
2) Does it affect Large creatures?
Yes.
3) How far does it push the enemy on the ATP scale? Is this too dependant on the number of creatures in stack?
No, the target is always pushed to the end of the ATB scale (it loses all of its accumulated initiative).
4) Can the probability of it occuring be increased in a battle?
More HP in the stack in relation to the target will result in a higher probability. Soldier's luck talent also increases the chance.
Contamination:
1)When a creature is next to the ghoul stack and is hit. Does it retaliate with -4 att and def or does normal retaliation.
It retaliates with -4 attack and def.
2)When a hostile creature next to a ghoul moves away to attack my another stack ( say vampire) which is far away, does it still does -4 attack?
No.
3) What are the chances of freezing with fear? Is it same as triggering morale boost when enemy has +1 morale?
Negative morale (-1) has the same chance as positive morale (+1).
Shield Allies:
1) By 'adjacent' does it mean that skele legs only has be right next to the creature? Can the skele legs stand up and left or right or down-left-right of the creature such that it is still in contact?
It can be any tile adjacent to them (from which they could be attacked by enemy creatures).
2) Is it cumulative? If two stacks of skele stand left and right of liches will the liches suffer 25% less + another 25% less ranged damage?
Not sure on that one.
3) is it dependant on stack size?
No. | for large shield - it is easier to remember it the other way around:
Skele protects all 8 tiles around him - if it is large creature to be protected at least one tile of that creature needs to be in protected area. |
