look when i lightning guardian and mino
it have different damage, and both player have not faction wizard skill
i have 40% piercing but why that happen?
is it just i don't understand :( ? | 394 vs 404,
knight has 10% magic proof, dark elf has 6% air shield.
If he has 10% magic proof and you have 40% pierce magic -> 0.40 * 10% = 4%
So you pierce through 4% of the magic proof, and his 10% magic proof counts thus as 6% magic proof.
The dark elf has 6% air resistance, 0.40*6% -> 2.40%
So the dark elf has 6-2.4 = 3.6% air restnance
So the knight has a bit more resistance than the dark elf, so you ll do less damage to the knight. | Knight got 10% magic proof,
so piercing through magic resistance will increase the damage but ignore (magic) shield will only wonk on (magic) armor. | | so pierce dont work on air resist? or necro chaos magic resist talent? fireproof talent? | oh, you said you had 40% magic piercing, but that is not true.
You have 42.4% ignore xxx shield. then as murali said;
ignore (magic) shield will only wonk on (magic) armor.
so it has no effect on magic proof, you need "true" magic piercing for that.

so pierce dont work on air resist?
I think:
magic piercing works on everything except fl resistance (so including magic resistances and talents)
ignore magic resistance works only on magic resistances |
