| I just saw it and you casted confusion :P but this happened to me too but in other form ,, in blindfold tourney spawns did not absorb mana but transferred mana to necro and i was like what the... but after the battle when i checked , it was all right. |

Did you cast mass confusion on the necro opponent?
Confusion does not affect undead creatures so if you cast it as a mass spell and no living creatures in area then it will look as if nothing happened (though your hero will use mana). |
