Authoreror or what ? my rapid is 34% + enemy delay is -27% why i got - ??

my rapid effect is +34 % enemy effect is -27% how can it be i have - on intivate insted of + ?
Delay
8.5 - 2.3 (27%) = 6.2

Rapid
8.5 + 2.9(34%) = 11.4

But, Delay is counted AFTER Rapid... So your Overall ini of Wardens it became...

11.4 (With Rapid) - 3.1 (27% Delay) = 8.3
8.5 * 1.34 * 0.73 = 8.3741

8.5 * 0.73 * 1.34 = 8.3741
why delay is affter ? not before ?
3) Introduced Overlay system for spells of Holy and Darkness schools of magic, antagonistic to each other. Thus, Rapid and Delay, Bless and Curse, Chastise and Weakness do not replace each other, but co-exist as long as both effects are in action.
The Overlay effect for each group of spells is as follows.

Rapid vs. Delay:
[Final initiative] = [initiative] * (100% + [Rapid effect]) * (100% - [Delay effect]);

Bless vs. Curse:
-If [Bless effect] > [Curse effect], then [Final min.damage] = [min.damage] + ([max.damage] - [min.damage]) * ([Bless effect] - [Curse effect]);
-If [Curse effect] > [Bless effect], then [Final max.damage] = [max.damage] - ([max.damage] – [min.damage]) * ([Curse effect] – [Bless effect];

Chastise vs. Weakness:
[Final attack] = [attack] + [Chastise effect] – [Weakness effect].

Game Mechanics work that way... Can't explain why. :P
Rapid vs. Delay:

[Final initiative] = 8.5 * (100% + 34%) * (100% - 27%);

and as Empress Ansi already said, since its multiplication, the order doesnt matter.
In other words,delay is always better than rapid..considering efficiency is not much far apart.

After or before makes no difference in the end. Delay almost always wins in the end. The formula is quite broken against say dark demon; having rapid almost makes no difference, but you gotta leave with it.
i see but i think they should change it to be like . example :
creture intivate 10. rapid effect 30% delay effect 20% then 30%-20% = 10% = creture get 10% + intivate same goes the other way around .
delay 30% rapid 20% 30 - 20 10% = creture intivate 9.

What Sven stated is the real reason why it is that way.
The formula is direct multiplication... so as per MATHEMATICS, it is correct. :)
admins are smart enough to notice that delay is more powerfull than rapid ^^
but i think they did it on purpose to promote darkness magic since it is barely used.
There's nothing like before or after.

If you cast delay before rapid -

initiative 10 with 30% delay gets 7 initiative (which is -3)

then you cast rapid 40% over 7 initiative so you get 7*0.4 = +2.8 so the final initiative becomes 9.8 which is still lesser than orginal.
