how we know the monster get extra speed in hunting??
i confuse manage my garg to run away :D |
Speed of neutral creatures in hunts will increase by 1 after every 10 full turns of the Lord. |
how can i count if i use sorcery talent? |
sorcery talent?
You mean Basic Sorcery ? That talent is purely based on Lord's Initiative, and not speed. Dont confuse speed with Initiative. |
how can i count if i use sorcery talent?
You can always find that by counting how much times you had cast magic. Before months, the ATB scale was still. But now, you can see all the following attacks by scrolling it. So i thing that will not be a big issue. |
I still think yopiwizard's question is relevant or can you really see when the speed increases by scrolling the ATB scale? |
no. the speed will increase at the 10th turns. before that, it wont show on ATB even you scroll to 10th turns.
another significant way to observe: you will find out a small lagging before the 1st unit move at the start of 10th turn. |
1 combat turn is equal to the duration required for a unit with 10 initiative to gain 100% accumulated initiative.
In other words, a unit with 10 initiative, for example the lord will gain its turn at the end of first combat turn, or another unit with 20 initiative will gain 2 turns within 1 combat turn (takes half or 0.5 of the combat turn).
If the lord for example, has 30% faster turn from Expert sorcery, it will gain the first turn at 1 combat turn, second turn at 1.7 combat turn, third turn at 2.4 combat turn, and so on. If for example the lord does not cast a spell at the third turn (Sorcery talent does not take effect), it will gain its next turn at 3.4 combat turn.
Neutral units increase speed at the end of 10th combat turn (i.e., beginning of 11th combat turn), you have to make estimation if your lord does not spend 1 combat turn for its of its turn.
This is similar to most duration spells (Decay for example is an exception, I think). |

thank for advice
well i still confuse
i can't count my turn cause i always use sorcery talent
i can't count any monster turn cause sometime they will get morale
well before i just count from my genies spell,
but it still confuse me and im lazy to double click monster to see that spell duration -_-" anyone know easier way to count that?
(my garg should run away :D) |
Can some one tell me where it's wrong?
Base hero initiative is 10, + % bonus from sorcery if use any spell.
With basic sorcery without any other artefact which increase hero iniative should go to 11. (10 + 10% = 11 for basic sorcery)
10 heros turns = 1 natural units speed...
So... I didn't follow where I'm missleading here... But whatever... |
10 heros turns = 1 natural units speed
It is only if the hero has 10 ini and don't get reduced turns due to mass spells or sorcery spells.
Otherwise the +1 speed would come incredible fast for heroes casting mass spells |
for Lycanthrope:
Sorcery talent does not increase lord's initiative, without any bonus from artifact, lord's initiative remain at 10. (Besides, you wrote 10.1 initiative, i.e., 1% increase with Basic sorcery) |
Thanks khalledros.
Empress, I know, but I mean sorcery with magic spells should make hero turn comes faster as without sorcery. |
i find it easier to count creatures turns. so lets say creature with ini 7 can have 7 turns and after that 7th turn it gets +1 speed. i also sometimes write it in battlechat, u can always open battlechat in another tab if u had forgotten what you wrote..
example from zombies hunt record i made: http://www.heroeswm.ru/battlechat.php?lt=-1&warid=501239016
as you can see, i made mistake by counting hero turns, with slow ini creatures its defenitly easier to count enemy turns instead. |
