AuthorEnchants on armor
How does it work? What type of damage does it reduce? Does it decreases only magic damage, or it decreases meele/ranged damage too?

Armor is not like weapons. Specifically, "earth shield 10%" doesn't mean that some earth-like shield is protecting you by 10% damage. It means that you have damage resistance against earth-like spells and abilities.

Someone delete post #2, thanks.
So, does that imply that enchants on armor has no effects on melee and ranged strikes? :O
You have 5 types of armor enchants:

Earth magic shield -- Meteorite shard
Air magic shield -- Windflower
Water magic shield -- Ice crystal
Fire magic shield -- Fire crystal
Decrease attack of charging stack -- Moonstone + Abrasive

The first 4 reduces magical damage from spells etc. They also reduce damage from the magical part of an enchanted weapon that is used against you. A couple of 24% reductions will make enchantments used against you almost worthless. The base damage is not affected, only the bonus damage caused by enchants.

The one causing most confusion is "Decrease attack of charging stack". It is unfortunately a rather poor translation. The effect is that it reduces the Attack of the one attacking you. The formulas are nonlinear, but as a guideline, you get about 10% reduction of the damage with a D10 if your opponent have an Attack = 20. This applies to both melee and ranged attacks.

Decrease attack of charging stack -- Moonstone + Abrasive

This enchant decreases all damage from normal attacks. It's the opposite of the ignore defense enchant on weapons.
Thanks a lot, it was useful =)
