Through it's battles with legions of armies and undead, the single biggest curse to hit the empire was brought upon it by itself...legalizing gambling.
The money consumed through our many great battles is a mere drop in the ocean compared to the black hole the roulette has cast on our pockets.
Love it or loath it the roulette has brought many millionaires to our lands, but led many more into a spiral of deprevation. Here i will list a few ways to play the roulette 'safely', or atleast techniques that can work, and hopefully bring a few pennies to your coffers.
~=Do not randomly bet=~
I don't think anyone actually does this, but if you do you're opening your self to a whole world of pain. You must stick to a pattern or routine.
~=The double drop=~
This one is real simple and relies on the fact that often you will see the same number appear twice in a row. All you have to do is bet on the number that was last spun.
i.e. if the last spin landed on 35 then bet on 35 for the next spin, If the next ball is 12 then bet on 12...and so on. If you're lucky you'll make a crap load of money.
The beauty of this one is it's real easy to get started, no need to watch the histories or wait for ages.
~=The long wait=~
This one, as the name implies, takes a long time. All it involves is betting on the number that has not made an appearance. i.e. in the last 100 spins the number 24 has not come up, so you start betting on 24 until it does.
This is a bit risky as i'm sure many will testify to, but as long as you stick with it you're sure to make a winning.
~=The sixlines=~
My personal favourite. This won't make you rich in an instant but almost always delivers. Simply check the spin history and see if there are any gaps in the number.
Basically just put the spin history numbers in order then see if there's a gap of at least 6. E.g. ...6,9,17,21... so there's a gap between 9 and 17 so we bet on the 10-15 sixline.
It can require a lot of waiting and often there won't be an opportunity to bet for many hours, so patience and self control is key here.
~=The missing number=~
This one is a bit more complex and again relies heavily on the spin history. What you'll have to do is take a tally of the numbers that have appeared and see which number have not. When i say numbers i literally mean the numbers between 0-9, not the 38 number on the roulette table.
so if the last spins had the number 10,12,21,33,36,4,19,27,5... as you can see all numbers except for '8' have a made an appearance. So we will bet on 8,18 & 28. This one is again quite rare but with a bit of perseverance should pay off.

So there we have 4 techniques that will hopefully bring you many riches. I tried to steer clear from the very obvious ones such as odd's and evens' but if you know any methods i haven't posted then feel free to add them below.

you already won when you dont play roulette :D | Sorry for double post. I'm gonna explain why this method doesn't work (I will talk about PROBABILITY, if you are lucky or unlucky ANY method doesn't count):

The probability for a number (called x in this case) will be exctracted is 1/38. Since roulette can be compared to a dice (no memory), the probability of e sequence with two consecutive x is 1/38. Since you bet 1 and you win 36, you will be negative.

As I said before, the chance of having a number is ALWAYS the same. The sequence: "1 2 3 4 5", has the same probability of the sequence "1 1 1 1 1". So if you had a sequence "1 2 (+1 each step) ..... 35" and you bet on 36 you still have 1/38 chance of hitting 36.

In the past I used the method "bet on red after 3 black" and "bet on black after 3 red", if you fail bet the previus bet * 2. This is why my actual income is not so hight, but still positive. There are lot of books about roulette, many method. A tip for you: you won't find a good method online, you have to think about one by yourself.
I made a program and lot of tests. Many methods allow a little win with few spins, I prefer one that give you positive income after 3.000.000+ spins! ^^ | ~=Do not randomly bet=~

This is what I do and it works okay for me.
The best way to bet is to only bet as much as you can afford to lose. Expect to lose every bet and if you win this is a nice surprise.
The numbers are random the only way to slightly increase your chances is by applying mathematics to the bet amounts.
