And thx in advance | Yes they may join the Rangers Guild.
Any Ranger artifacts your multi earned from increasing the RG level can only be sold at market as auction for 3 days with initial price of 1 gold and no buyout price.
As part of rule 3.13.6.:
Additional characters may trade rare artifacts obtained in chests of abundance, TGIs obtained through reaching TG level 5, Thief, Plunderer, Ranger, and Tactician sets artifacts obtained through leveling in respective guilds, but only at the market as auction for 3 days with initial price of 1 gold and no buyout price. | | Can a secondary character purchase Abu-Bakir's Charm? It is a lot easier to gain TG levels then it is to gain Rangers levels. That is a major positive for TG. For each TG level, you need double the wins to get the equivalent RG level.
Thieving is better, I think, but more expensive.
I would not say it was more expensive. You need to have the gold up front, which is a major deterrent for most players. However, with RG you get an art at 4, 8 and 10. At TG you get an art at every level. Plus you get a TGI to resell at TG 5. Thus, recouping your initial expense on the TGI.
Furthermore, RG is expensive because you have to pay for a decent mount as well as artifact cost. With TG you only pay for artifact costs. | You need to have the gold up front, which is a major deterrent for most players.
Ah, and you can sell that TGI for roughly the same price you got it for. For primaries, anyway. Secondaries have no choice but to get it through diamonds.

I don't know if this difference will remain forever, but the experience tables currently limit the rangers' guild to level 10 :
