AuthorTGI
When someone reaches TG level 5 , he gets a thief guild invitation , can that TGI be given as a gift to someone ?
I don't think so ..
you can just send the TGI lower than the price of the market jusr reduce (10 000 x combat lv) if i am corect :)
TGI market price is always way above gift limit (unless one have donated 10.000 or above diamonds)

even thinking about that shows you are interested in getting/providing financial assist, better be careful ;)
can that TGI be given as a gift to someone ? Very unlikely this would ever be legal

In all logic, no one would actually do that. :)

The thief either bought [a] a TGI from market/player, [b] bought diamonds, to enter TG. Either way, he spent equivalent of approximately 550-600k gold to enter TG. Why would someone then simply 'give' it away?

And since TGI can be bought from market at around 550k, it's akin to sending a 550-600k gift, which IS illegal. :)
the answer is yes, but you would need to buy a lot of diamonds

3.15. There are limits for transfers intended as gifts. Gifts from a grantor to any particular player must not exceed 10,000 gold * [Combat level of the grantor] + 250 * [Diamonds obtained by the grantor through donations] per month.
3.15.1. Rare trophies, Thief invitations, etc. transferred as gifts are valued at market price at the time.

If we would value TGI at 550.000 gold
Then, at level 15, you may give a TGI as a gift, if you have bought at least 1600 diamonds.

(level 15 * 10.000 gold = 150.000 gold gift limit)
(1600 diamonds * 250 gold = 400.000 gold gift limit)
