| I just got attacked by a thief all of the sudden. And im not even in the thieves guild, has this happen to anyone else? |
| after CL6 you may got ambushed by thief's while travailing in map:) nothing special about it. |
Yes, that's what thieves do. They attack everyone who travels, it doesn't matter whether you are in the thief guild or not.
The only way to not be attacked while traveling is to buy a Drake mount. |

| Thieves usually attack caravans but there's a small chance to attack real players too. |
thiefs do steal a bit if they beat you.
but thats a very low amount at your level like 50 gold
if you walk no art but full army and fight fast than message thief ask your (50 ?) gold back, most will pay that back.
since walking no art, you will get free fsp.
beware : playing intentionaly bad versus thief may get punished by keepers, 1000 or more gold - so play fast but reasonable !!
if you walk with arts (hence trying to beat them) or lose/kill time of thief (like start walking and leave for a smoke.. when you get back you see you are in ambush etc) then dont expect them to pay back :d |
I am surprised you managed to get all the way to CL8 and were never ambushed until now. :)
I get ambushed quite regularly when I am moving around the map.
One other thing. If you are ambushed and lose you cannot be ambushed again for 3 hours. |
| No i never walk with arts. Never had to until now. maybe need to when thieves are lurking here and there maybe i need to be prepared? hehe no its just a waste of art durability i think. |
well, if you never plan to buy thief invitation (either by game gold or with diamonds) then you may consider joining rangers guild. then beating thiefs that caught you may mean something.
in the long run, benifits of rangers guild is inferior to thief guild though. |
