Ive read somewhere the chance is 3% + my hg, is that right?
I just realised Ive done over 93 hunts already (average chance 4.18%), and all I got was the frigging machete on the first hunt...

No the arts you wear don't affect your chances

It is random, it means that you can be below or above the mean. In the very long term you will get closer to the real drop percentage.
*You could also have missed seeing a drop, happens to me fairly often |
if an item drops, I get it automatically in my inventory? or I have to click something to pick it up? or what do you mean I missed it??

Automatically. It will also be mentioned at the end of the battle.
