Some people make a profit buying and selling estates but it can take a long time to agree a transaction (and I suspect quitea few sales are money laundering so might be punished if admins feel the same).
Main benefits as I see it are the extra inventory slots and occasionally quicker recovery for your army during events if you are in same location but then again you can usually get almost as quick recovery for ~100g so only extra slots are really useful. It still costs a lot of gold per inv though. |

I know I compare apples and oranges here but for 5,000,000 gold, you can instead get over 8 years of Abu-Bakir's Charm. It will give much more space and other benefits as well.
Still, it is very cool to own an estate. |
a 0 star estate with 30 storage spots can be bought for less than 5M ^^
and its permanent, instead of temporary stuff from charms. With temporary items you always feel obliged to keep playing when the duration is still on |
