I have the resistance talent and my troops are suppose to have 43% magic resist because resistance gives 20%
however just now in combat, i view my army stats and there was only a 23 percent magic resist..
is this like bad luck 4 me> or bug > or is it hidden? |
Yes resistance talent give 20% magic resistance.
So where are the 23% resistance that you think you had?? |
some arts give magic resistance too.

Magic resistance is not additive, it's multicable.

its just that the resistance given by arts is 23% and 20% from the talent.. there isnt anything wrong.. only the resistance given from arts is written when you check the troop stats, nothing wrong
however when magic damage was dealt you received damage according to their combined effect.. should be approx 38% resist. |

its not a bug.. like i said just now.. the fact that it displays resistance in your talent list means 20% resist.. why does it need to be show 20% resistance again seperately?
and its not additive.. so 20 and 23 doesn't make 43. see sven's post for accurate effective value. |
| In list of effects working on troops only effects from artifacts are showed and calculated. This is same with meele damage - effect from offense talents isn't shown as meele damage, but all talents effects works on troops. |
