You know how you pick a tactics mode in quick tournaments/battles whether it be defense or offensive,and that's how your troops fight in the battle.
Say you're a Knight and you want some Recruits to stay back and just defend so you can prevent any creatures from just walking up and attacking your Crossbowmen. You also want to make your Griffins/Cavalry/Swordsmen charge and attack. You would give the troops that block the shooter the defensive tactic and if they were able to,they could perform special abilities like mana siphon,casting, or just defend so they can block the rest of the troops. |

Quick Battles are available only several days a year, during big holidays etc..
To adjust the system like this it will require a lot of time and effort from administration. I don't think the outcome will justify the time spent. |

5 each day, so would be worth the time admins spent on it. |

I'll just translate what someone wrote in Russian forum section according to same proposal:
AI is the same AI for every type of battles. Improving it drastically would mean significant increase in its potency in all types of LWM battles involving AI such as all guilds, Survilurgs, etc. This means some records in Hunters' guild, many missions in Mercenaries' guild and caravans in Thieves' guild will be simply unbearable.
The AI's competence is like that on purpose. Further amplifying of the AI would make many AI-involved combats too difficult for average players. |
I mean, programming AI troops to use some special abilities and AI heroes - to use certain skills (like Knights central talent). It will inevitably affect all AI performance. |
