When jewelry is enchanted, what does it do?

And just to add, like any other enchantment, it will increase its AP if it's powerful enough.
It increases the spell damage (of the hero only, not units), and also gives some magic shield penetration.

This is wrong actually. And incomplete too...

Jewelry enchantment gives bonus to elemental damage. That is, any elemental damage, delivered either by hero or by troops. Heavy on *any* and heavy on *elemental*.
So, it applies to both your hero as well as your units, and is not only spells damage, it is all elemental damage.

What is elemental damage? All damage that is not physical, that is all magic damage. That of course includes damage delivered by spells (either by hero's spells or by units; for example the magic punch of magis/lorekeepers delivers nature elemental damage, and if your jewelries have nature enchants, then that damage is increased).

But not only spells' damage is elemental. For example, if your weapon(s) has/have enchants on it, then that means some elemental damage is added to the physical damage delivered (by your hero or troops). Well that elemental damage bonus will be increased if you also have jewelries with enchants on them, matching the same elemental as your weapon(s).
Oh, and I forgot to add, as Classic Dyna mentioned actually, jewelries enchantments also ignores magic shield for matching elemental damage (when you actually have elemental damage).
Well, as I have just learned, Warlock Naviron is correct and it does include troops elemental damage. Feel free to delete my post.
Wait, does magic punch deal elemental damage? I thought it dealt physical damage.
Okay, this is tricky: the source of the damage is nature magic. So the amount of the damage obeys the rules of elemental nature magic, and nature elemental enchants on jewelries will increase the amount of this damage.

However, the target receives this damage as physical damage.
Will nature/magic shield reduce the damage that magic punch will deal?
First of all, check this https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=39 at the bottom: there is no enchant that gives nature magic shield.

So, there is no nature enchant on armors. There is nature enchants for jewelries, but not for armor, nor weapons. So, there is no way to have nature magic shield.

However, if you had some (general) magic shield, then the damage received from the magic punch is impervious to it: the damage is received as physical damage, not affected by your magic shield, or your defense parameters.
Think of it this way: you create a magic fist above your opponent, and then this fist slams down in your opponent's head.

So, the creation of this fist is magical, of nature origin, and it obeys all nature magic enhancement rules. The more nature magic and nature enchants you have, the bigger that fist will be.

But when this fist falls down in your opponent's head, it delivers physical damage, and it doesn't matter how much magic protection your opponent has, or how much defense parameters: the bigger the fist, the bigger the damage.
warlock naviron is right.magic punch deal physical damage.this kind of magic ignore magic resistance.the higher you nature magic, the greater the damage will become
you create a magic fist above your opponent,
Actually, it might be more clear if I say: you magically create a physical fist above your opponent.
The dimension of this physical fist is bigger the bigger nature magic you have.
Thank you, all questions I have answered.
