There is an entire class of demons intended for Darkness-centered playing. It is very effective.
For dark elves, darkness-oriented builds are very ineffective if you compare them to any other. Pure attack, Attack + Mass rapid, pure Chaos, even mix Chaos+Darkness are all more effective than the other one, so you won't encounter any much Darkness DEs.
We'll see what the alternative class brings for DEs. but honestly, I wouldn't be counting on Darkness ;) |

Agreed, but they're just fine for PvE battles.
I forget to mention on my first post, necromancer and new shadow barb with a very cheap talent cost for darkness.
Pick the one you most like, search for tips, combats, builds etc. |
i assume darkness built dark elves were refer to a hybrid might + dark built.
i doubt any faction (can access dark spells) will try a pure darkness built after level 10. |
