i thought the avenger is air elemental, but i just read in the retribution strike description that it does physical damage
so, i want to confirm whether it is air or physical? thanks :) |

really? i tried to check some battles and it seems air shield does work
check this battle, the avenger deals about half the damage of the normal attacks

Exactly, that shows that it is physical damage, as stated in post 2 and 3

Only physical. No air whatsoever.
Retribution strike:
Upon successful attack, if there is an enemy creature adjacent to the target, retribution strike jumps to it dealing normal physical damage, and so on, until the chain is broken. This chain can affect up to 4 creatures.
Avenger:
α Activated special ability.
Once per combat, this creature can attack any enemy creature with a 'Retribution strike' without moving. |
