I'm afraid I don't know if this has been suggested before.
1.Just like your lots, there should be an option such that we could see the progress of the auction of an artifact which we made a bid.
2.It should be displayed in our bids until the auction lasts. But there should also be an option to "unfollow" an auction before it's deadline time.
3.A notification that you have been outbidden by another player could also be very helpful.

Agreed! It's really a pain especially for one who like to bid lots of artifact and then when they go to bed and wake up in the morning just to realise one of the artifacts had a higher bidder and the search for which artifact starts.
But there should also be an option to "unfollow" an auction before it's deadline time. -1
Dont really mind whether there is an "unfollow" option or not since once in a while I'll go and check the artifacts I've bid on. But still my personal opinion though.

Local rule 4:
4. Any idea should have a purpose and describe the means of it's realization. It should also answer the question: "Why it needs to be done?".
The mechanism of the market is that you write your maximum bid. Then the auction automatically bids to outbid the second highest bidder. So you will never have to pay more than slightly above the second highest bidder.
With this in mind, can you please explain why you need a notification? |

I have seen this before but not for quite a while and although I rarely bid on auctions it could be useful though not a big priority.

Yes that about sums it up.
But I guess I can give reasons:
1) It is really hard when you bid on items and you have to search through the market to see the present status.I think this in built feature would prove quite useful.

Agree. But I guess it would make it much less time consuming. Economy is also an aspect of the game other than the combat.
2) This was just a follow-up suggestion, just like a side feature. Since any auction we bid will be displayed in the your bids section until auction lasts. But we may want to quit pursuing in between so the "unfollow" button(Not have to be exactly called that)

It would be nice if this was automatic, but you can always follow your bids by opening the auction logs in new tabs and then refresh them. You can find the logs by clicking the [i] symbol.
But a central overview could be useful, so +1 |
