It is when they don't scold you that you should worry. When they scold you it is because they care and they want you to have the opportunity to do whatever you want with your life once the exams etc are over and done with.
Have you tried sitting down with them and explaining that the extra pressure is not helping but rather the worry is stopping you being able to focus fully on doing the best you can?
Not everyone can be good academically but I have found that in life there will always be things you are good at and others you are not but overall they always seem to balance out. As long as you try your best at all you do no one can ask more of you than you do yourself. |

You don't need friends.
You don't need to live either, but hell, suiciding is for the weak.
You can't change the world unless you have power over others. And that's because of the people's free will, you'll need to guide their will if you want to change the world.
You don't need to play football unless you have the potential to grow a career on it.
You do need your parents, bare with them as long as they feed you.
Your life is not worthless. Learn some maths, study some history and you'll come to understand the world and how to be a part of it.
Cry if it makes you feel better, but make sure you've learned something from it.
Do some maths, start from the very basics if you have hard times with it, they'll help you understand the world. Philosophy is good too, you may be able to build some principles through it, to learn how a man should act and evolve himself, but don't let maths aside. A stupid good man is worthless. A smart abuser is worthless too. Be smart and good and you'll have the proper brain to be calm and stable. Grow some muscles too if you can, or better learn some martial art because there are many people with weak brain and you must take care of them with your body. Having both brain and body, you'll only need money, so find something to do with that and you'll have no troubles in your life.
And remember, the worst thing that can ever happen to you is death. It can't be that bad, right ? |
