I always avoided the 4x4 Auto-combats because they defied any logic about playing a game. I always thought a game is played for fun, to enjoy. Also a bit of strategic character building.
But with introduction of 'Auto-combat' in all PvP combats, this game turned from a tactical, strategy game into a simply: 1) Join PvP combat, 2) Press 'Auto-combat', 3) Watch your exp, fsp and level grow.
No fun anymore, just sit back, relax, do your dishes, sweep up your room, and come back to watch your character 'progress' level after level...
That's a thread for discussion by the Community of a newly introduced "feature".
Sure, some voices will say that sometimes you have to leave suddenly. Or you give up, as you see no path to win. But that should be a team-decision, no? Make it for the team to agree/approve to one or all switch the Auto-combat on.
(Some people start from the beginning with Auto on)

But these 3 days I want to play CG (read: tactician guild). What's the tactics in that Auto-PvP?
This used to be a select guild, that rewarded the skilled (also a strategic character builders). Where is the skill in that? |

| note that AI doesn't really play at a level of a skillful player, so not many people are using autocombat in CG |

People going auto in CG end up losing majority of the times. Since all auto does is, send your troops into "Reach the other end of the battlefield" mode. :P

You may play duels during these three days. Then all depend on yourself. |
| I agree with you mate, is partly Admins fault... i hope next time they enable auto-combat thing they recomend all players to use plastic dishes for the duration off the event... |
| there is no att or def button like before when you go auto combat and usually 5 of 6 players are auto there has to be that one guy who dont turn auto on..... |

He was able to beat computer Grusharaburas with exact same artifacts in our previous encounter.

| Auto combats for these short events are generally welcomed and is an added benefit. It doesn't stop you ignoring them and fighting other combat types instead if you wish. |
at the beginning of the anniversary i thought it was nice, quick and easy way to gain some exp and fsp.
However the amount of incopetent teammates has increased exponentially. Elves with 15 spellpower and 0 mana, players with super low faction levels and no upgraded units, players that are AFK because they thought it was autobattles, etc etc etc.
And then there is the fact that if you do a 3 vs 3 group battle and one player does not press auto, the entire battle will last much longer, and his team will win. Because he can play better than AI.
So i still think the artifact set is very nice and generous gift from the admins, but its best not used in pvp battles |
