Guys my friend is a demon and is my same level and has no creatures other than Imps , demons , wolfhounds , succubies , hell horses.
I have Bandits , shrews , minotaurs , Lizard cavalry and hydras .
He does not have fort , i don't have too .
He doesn't have market, i don't have too .
But somehow he is able to play duels , group battles , defences but i don't
Why is this so? | maybe because of troops count.

DEs are known for their low creatures count, but still you have Rally.
In any case, you need to have your CL-1 constructions built in your castle to be sure that you can combat. So, fort it is.
It's weird that your friend can do it without fort or rally, if I were you I'd check his transfer log :P | | He has Breed of Chaos which increases the recruit count of demons by 2. Unfortunatly DE doesnt have cheap building which increases low tear troops count. Try using Rally talent.
