well, my first turn of fiends (99) , they just did nothing - they did not wait or defend or move , although i pressed the button to activate leap.
the 1 fiend moves , then 99 - just did not do nothing. they did not gain turn b4 1 fiend so they did not wait,and neither did they get any def bonus , so they did nt defend. so , what happened to their turn ? | u must have applied that move in which ur stack skips a move
its actually a misclick.
this feature has been removed recently.

Weird. | just a silly bug, you can do it with cave demons too.
for example you let them gate, then 5 turns later into the combat you select spellbook again to cast disruption ray, but somehow gating appeared again in the spellbook, you clicked it and it skips your turn without doing anything.
i think something similar was here, maybe you clicked leap in the spellbook, then the timer hit 0 and the game thinks you leaped, while in reality you missed your turn.
but you played the battle, so why ask us what happened ? | well , i asked as this ws the 1st time anything lyk dat happened , n just wnted 2 knw if it ws smethin i did or just a bug.
