AuthorQuestions: Is the wizards sub-class are ready?
Hello,
I would like to know if the wizard sub-class are already available to us?
If not, can someone got some spoilers?

Best,
H.M
Yeah. The insight tournament has the best spoilers to the class. :)

They are not playable just yet, but they are already part of the game. Currently they are available as a teaser in the Battlewise Wizard Insight tournament.

The features are these:
1) Miniarts racial ability is replaced with "Dominion of Magic" (not a talent, possible confusion with many talents with similar name). This ability increases the lord's attack by (0.3+0.03*[faction skill level]) and the initiative of troops by (0.1+0.01*[faction skill level]) per Spell power and Knowledge (each individually, not SP+KN);
2) A different set of upgrades and totally different recruit count;<br>
3) The central talent their wheel is Magic control:

For spoilers on creatures (and on anything else in fact) in English, best explore this site:

This ability increases the lord's attack by (0.3+0.03*[faction skill level]) and the initiative of troops by (0.1+0.01*[faction skill level]) per Spell power and Knowledge (each individually, not SP+KN);

so att and ini go up with a higher faction level.
So e.g. fl10 gives a 0.6 attack and 0.2 ini boost to all troops?

But what is the rest of the sentence about ? "per spellpower and knowledge" since they are not in the formula.

or is this 0.6 att and 0.2 ini bonus per spellpower? then 30 spellpower would give you 18 att and 6.0 ini bonus.
And if it is not spellpower+knowledge, how does it work individually?
(0.1+0.01*fl)*sp+(0.1+0.01*fl)*kn = (0.1+0.01*fl)*(sp+kn)
so it only takes the highest of the 2 values from sp and kn? or how does it work?
for Sven91:
I think it's SP for attack and knowledge for initiative.
I think by "individually" he meant "respectively" :D
Maybe it has to do with the decimal?
Example: 19 SP, 7 Knowledge, fsl 7

Attack from SP = 9.69 = 10(Rounded)
Attack from Kn = 3.57 = 4(Rounded)
Total attack = 14
Attack from SP+Kn = 13.26 = 13(Rounded)

something like this?
1) Miniarts racial ability is replaced with "Dominion of Magic" (not a talent, possible confusion with many talents with similar name). This ability increases the lord's attack by (0.3+0.03*[faction skill level]) and the initiative of troops by (0.1+0.01*[faction skill level]) per Spell power and Knowledge (each individually, not SP+KN);

I like this. at 10fsl, they get +18 attack. Thats crazy! :D
(0.3+0.03*[faction skill level] * Spellpower = bonus attack
(0.1+0.01*[faction skill level]) * knowledge = bonus initiative?
by "individually" he meant "respectively"

attack bonus = (0.3+0.03*fl)*sp
initia bonus = (0.1+0.01*fl)*kn

that could be right.
I think by "individually" he meant "respectively"
What a weird way to explain "respectively" :P
attack bonus = (0.3+0.03*fl)*sp
initia bonus = (0.1+0.01*fl)*kn

that could be right.

so for: fl=10, sp=30, kn=10
we have 18 attack and 2% ini

Now, a normal wizard can have 3 miniarts for fl10 (no matter the amount of sp and kn):
8 attack, 8 def and 11% ini
we have 18 attack and 2% ini
i believe it is +2 initiative, not +2% initative
the way i read it, it's not 2% initiative, but +2 initiative. Take a 8 ini creature: +11% makes it 9, + 2 makes it 10..
Attack bonus = {0.3+0.03*[fl]}*[sp+kn]
initiative bonus = {0.1+0.01*[fl]}*[sp+kn]%
so for: fl=10, sp=30, kn=10
we have 18 attack and 2% ini

Now, a normal wizard can have 3 miniarts for fl10 (no matter the amount of sp and kn):
8 attack, 8 def and 11% ini

-> 24 attack bonus and 8% ini now
so these alternative wizards have high attack, low defence and high hero damage. Should be no problem to kill them as a dwarf then, muahaha
Dwarves are the usual suspect for killing any kind of stuff :P
-> 24 attack bonus and 8% ini now
so these alternative wizards have high attack, low defence and high hero damage.

so alt wizard can't stay in def. He must deal some physical damage and as we all saw in last event he can.
