can someone explain to me what just happened here?!!!

opponent with dominion of fire casts fireball on my gargoyle, but my garg's armor stays the same!!!
is this a bug or something?!!!

Enchanted gargoyles are immune to fire. That also includes the dominion of fire talent.

that's weird, i'm pretty sure dominion used to work on gargoyles!
hmmm, maybe it's because of pierce through magic resist?!

Yes, the enemy needs to have at least 1% pierce magic to it work.
