Is their a set formula for the gold reward from thieves' guild ambushes?
I ask because the information only says that it is based off of the guild level, but does not give any hint as to how.
I have seen level 0 ambushes give 50 or so gold and someone at level 11 TG get only about 500. | There was a thread about it some time ago, but I don't seem to find it.
Anyway, in short:
you have a basic reward which then gets multiplied with the TG level (1 for level 0). Basic rewards are a few numbers between a minimum and a maximum. Basic rewards start at a higher number for ambushing players than for ambushing caravans. The basic reward is a random number from the list of basic rewards (doesn't have anything to do with previous wins or losses).
So yes, a TG 0 player will get 50 gold while the TG 11 player will get 550 gold if they both have 50 as basic reward.
