| as title says, why does the game sometimes combine 2 separate hunts( not assisting but actually combining two) ive been playing a long time and have always wondered why. any help? |
| That is when 2 separate players at the same location click attack (on the creature) around the same time, hence the combined battles. |
It's just a feature that they introduced to diversify the game a little bit.
https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1842732 - Point 6 explains it. Neutrals have a small chance to "flee" and catch up with another group of neutrals to make it a double hunt.

The chances are very low. It requires players to click around the same time for a hunt. Even if they click at the same time, it is not guaranteed that you enter into a double hunt.
The hunts usually have +1/-1 level distribution. Which means a level 4 can be in a double with a level 3, 4 or 5.
The chances of it occurring are higher at lower levels (since there are more of them) and at times when there are higher numbers of players online. |
It's useful because you get free +1 hunter guild point.
The amount of creatures won't increase if you win. |
I haven't had a single one since the server merge, and I've done several hundred.
I even thought they had removed the feature. |
From my experience, it seems the merged hunt always involves hunts that have non-white difficulty
The only time i got a merged hunt with an easy creature was when i fight 28 goblin warlocks during the time goblin warlocks has just been introduced, so the difficulty is not white since the hunt record is still very low |

Exactly! If the hunt is white or red with exclamation point the merged hunt never happen. As for the percentage for occuring, it depends on player CL and hour of play (during nighttime i doubt there will be many merged hunts). |
