Author | Question about Roulette |
Does Roulette really make someone poor? Or is it just a speculation ? Because the game tips says that "Roulette is the fastest way to get rich".
I played Roulette, but with minimal bet and still get profit from it. So, do I have to quit it or not ? |
You don't have to quit.
But you have bet very little. Overall, the house wins. That means that in the long run, more people lose a greater amount of gold than those winning it.
Seems like a good idea and you may be winning now, but once you start losing, you might think you will win again and lose it all.
I would avoid roulette. |

Overall, the house wins.
Mathematically, this means the "expectation" of the game is negative for any and all players.
Some people might get a benefit at some point in time, but overall the players lose money... and you will be one of them eventually. |

So, the disadvantage of roulette is because its addictive ?
The disadvantage is as other have pointed out that the house wins.
Since it is not an skill based game, luck being the only factor it is the same for everyone and your expected return will vary very little in the long run.
Every time you bet 1000 gold you will in average only get 947 back.
So ignore the tip, most often roulette is an way to get poor |
OK. Thank's all for the answers. I'll quit it right now.
