I haven't done much fights yet with the new system, only watched some examples. I think that after the troop numbers are reduced everything will be fine. It's not bad that the admins force us to use new builds or setups. After all, the changes with the talents and the free poo made this possible.

No build will work in all situations, but it will be nice to test some.

Playing a might character doesn't mean someone is a brain-dead noob as was stated earlier but barbarians ALWAYS get the hot chick. Best of both worlds for some of us :P

What does that have to do with the topic? Charmer Elf is not a faction, it is a class. It is a fairly effective class in PvP. Not all classes/factions need to be competent at every single facet of the game. Stick to standard elf if you don't like the alternative option. But then again, it's off topic.
Thanks Corey for your non-helpful post. I do 'stick to standard Elf' because of the low Troop Count of Charmer Elf.

Only thought since this thread was about improving the AI and adjusting troop counts, it would be expedient to ask about increasing Charmer Elf troop count. But I see my post has already been deleted.

Would be nice if they introduced the (new) alt classes in survilurgs and thieving. Thieving is quite imbalanced if caravans have big stacks of alt troops with normal hero. For example gating dark demon troops in might demon caravan.

And while admins are at it, they could give us the neutrals of past events for hunts and quests ;-).

Anyway, I'm looking forward to see the end result of the AI upgrades.

i dont see any difference. same troops count for enemy, same way they are playing.
Work has started on improving the artificial intelligence of computer opponents, so-called bots. The first phase of the work will be completed within one or two weeks.



May be, admins havn't finished completing the upgrade/change yet. You got to be patient. ;)

Exactly on the opposite site of your battle, is one vs might DE. Two big stacks of shrews attacking and returning, big stack of witches shooting, while minos and lizard wait, is deadly.

Just did a defence with 100+ temptresses. half of our army killed by hypnosis on cerberi, of the demon in my team.

Thanks for answering, liuker. It seems one or two people agree with you but I have to ask, how can you possibly "know" this? And how do you know it is "always better" rather than just sometimes better, which I concede it can be. It seems it is just your opinion (and some people agree and some don't).

That is a very strong statement to make with no firm evidence except your own opinion.

It is clearly not always better if a large group of people like myself think it is not the best way to introduce the changes. I think it would be better to err on the side of caution and reduce the stack sizes by a little more than the expected amount the improved AI will and then let the existing system adjust. The fact that a few players might get a few easy battles is not a problem the system will quickly increase stack sizes to compensate for them. They will probably lose a corresponding number if the admins increase the basic stack sizes later.

However what we got was the admins introducing the changes with little or no compensating adjustment in stack sizes and letting the players sink or swim. This produces some absurdly strong opponents in some situations and some quite weak. The problem with the allowing some absurdly difficult battles is that it is impossible to get the minimum of 0.3 fsp to reduce the difficulty, and that is blatantly unfair to those players that get that sort of battle.


The changes have not been tested enough and the players suffer from the randomness. That is what we are complaining about. I don't enjoy playing under those circumstances and find it thoroughly demotivating. The admins should know that a lot of us are unhappy.

I find Survilurgs similar to roulette now. It's more on luck.

You join the battle and hope you don't face a Might DE or a Might Wiz. You are in luck if that's the case. :P
