The HG is the most rewarding Guild in terms of stat points : +1 ATK per level. In adition to that, it's fairly easy to level up, compared to MG and TG.
--> Definitely something you want to work on.
If you plan on building up alt castles, keep in mind that Hunts is likely to be the easiest fights for you at low faction level. So don't "cap" yourself too fast and plan ahead.
A reasonable long-term objective would be HG 8 at CL 15. |

the correct answer is 4
61.110 accounts at level 8
1 of them has hg6
about 50% has hg5
about 40% has hg4
most players have, or reach hg4 very early at lvl8
most players have, or reach hg5 at the end of lvl8, close to lvl9
You are still early in lvl8, this just means that you did less hunts and most likely more other battles than the average player.

When did the Hunts stop giving out +1 HG point
and change to reflect the skills points instead? |

For a solo hunt it used to be that the number of HG points you received was 2x the faction skill points you received. This was back when you could only get 0.5fsp in a solo hunt.
Since the changes in August 2013, where a player doing a solo hunt could get 1 fsp for a winning hunt, they changed it so that the amount of HG points you get reflects the Skill points received.
So the shift was from 2x the fsp received to equal to the fsp received in hunt.
