The recent AI update really turns the table on my battle against Vanguard of Elves. The druids used to lightning the enchanted gargoyles only (with zero damage of course :-) ) before I take out the rest of the elves. Now they lightning out MY ARMY in a few turns.
Absolutely no chance now. |
| Well i fought against vanguards of elves (10) and guess what happened? those druids shot those dumb gargoyles with arrows -.- i couldnt even save them as I was DE and had no shooters.. |

| @3 - They do not start shooting at the start , they light up my shrews.. Even before I can get to the druids with my shrews by killing melee enemies like efk , Druids will finish off the gargoyles , If i had played with my knight setup , I could have Finished the druids with my wardens and monks. |

I am knight and is hardto win vanguards of elves (12) :(
Druids are on 25, EFK on 150....
My wardenes cant kill all 4 druids in 1 shoot :( Even with enchate art not |
@5 - And get your private parts whooped by efk , sprites , unicorn etc ;p
Mate there are like 4 x20 druids.. how can my 40 shrews kill them.. those druids even have efk and sprites to cover them |

Looks like I'm not the only one suffering from the improved AI. It used to be an easy job for me as an elf. Now it's mission impossible.
Let me ask another question about Vanguard of Dark Elves. That's mission impossible for me even before the AI update. Those poisoners have high initiative and their poison always kills off the GBs in 2-3 rounds, way before I can finish them off (esp. those snakes can last long). Any good strategies against them (except for switching to DE myself)? |
| try alt elf with tactics and shiftiness talent, were some initiative arts, cover gbm with tree and use berthan on top one column down so that he can reach poisoner(split or singe depends on your taste but he should not allow that poisoner to shoot) use sharp to shoot down poisoner, use uni and tree to cover till you kill shrews. |
