someone told me that as a wizard i should go for enchanted rings , necklaces , scrolls and not for weapons , helmets etc.

Yes ofc.
You dont need meele power , so weapon enchants is useless.
You need enchanted jewels and armors. |

| Damage bonus means that your monsters deal extra fire dmg when they atk. Fire spell damage bonus deals more dmg with fire spells like fireball. |

No lol , If if you have a weapon which gives x% extra damage wth water magic , YOur all troops will deal extra x% water elemental damage. |
