Problem of duels is that you will face always the same few players... So after 2 or 3 battles you will know one another what the other will do in advance and who will win.
I will add - if you want to duel, try to join during peak hours, like around 18:00 server time otherwise, yeah, you can wait a while :)

I consider myself a decently strong level 16
yet I was 10 points behind in attack & def
& she had all the armaments

That being said it doesn;t mean you will always win, we all get beat sometime.

That's my experience too, CG is competitive but duels are even more competitive. Part of the lack of stats was because of +4 defense from talent though.

I have about 5 more stats than an average regular cg player, and a regular cg player have 5 more stats than an average normal player, but leana has 4 more stats than me! how can a regular player stand a chance against her?
At level 16, is the Holy better than the White Knight? The tables suggest that it has done slightly better. Both are bad, though:(.

yes, As i don't have those antique weapons just the normal shop artifacts

Well they cannot, which is why she has a crazily good CG win percentage.

And you are only a few stats behind her, one of which is from a UCI, another from AG2 which you are not far off from, while she has 20M more experience, so by the time you are there I am sure you will be closer.

Whereas many of the factions when red knight has a significantly higher win percentage are for factions you are not likely to face. Whether that means they are better is another matter, but at duels you are statistically more likely to win I think as white knight for CL16.

if the barb plays properly, a knight has very less chance
(xbowmen & paladins are key in such fights)

has anybody tried the xbow build knight?
in my view, they have these features compare with red one:
1. cheap inspire, cheap defense (dream of the red one).
2. easy bless and rapid (dream of the red one).
3. guardians protecting from ranged and paladins protecting from dark spells (dream of the red one).
4. 2 more hp but half damage from far distance.

at a roughly thought, compare with regular white knight, they could be better against shadow bb, both demons, tribal, fury bb with boars, suicidal UN, but worse against most might factions especially dwarf.
The problem of any build that relies on one or perhaps 2 significant units against shadow is blind.

With a defensive set up around significant shooters, either the knight gets fully debuffed by the shadow ad def constantly dropping, or else they advance and the whole tactic is ineffective.

With 2 stacks of cyclops and not easy way to remove before the first blind kicks in, it is likely that barb can hold back a blind or two to extend the duration the xbows are blinded for, thus the knight is fighting with a significant portion of its army not able to compete.

I don;t think knight has a good counter to shadow as it is too slow and most of its set up is too dependent on a few units
If you look at which factions were able to cope with shadow barb (at CL16 anyway) it was wizards, charmer elves red demon and tribals)

Either pure magic dealers or else crash attack from multiple threats (or a combo of both). In the case of tribal they are one of the few factions with multiple geneuine threats that have staying power, which with shaman to counter the delay can get in enough damage before being ground down.
Dunno how well tribals deal with shadow barb anymore, since infected strike lowers their defence and having darkness magic applied to them doesn't give tribals spirit anymore. :s
