Having large shield on ogre trophy hunters would be a bit much. 1 on 1 fury barb has the potential to dominate all ranged factions. Often times even the elves that go before it. In my experience, it only kind of loses its ranged advantage against a necromancer if archliches or skeletal bowmen go first. With an archer heavy build, and with shield allies it could be too much ranged advantage. |

I do too, though Earth elementals are made of rock, yet have nothing of the sort.

My assumption on this was it's magical rocks, so has magical protection instead of ranged |

Looking at them, i would say magic resistance would be more intuitive, at least from my perspective.
But there are a number of creatures who have "thick hide" so maybe we should keep our sensibilities at bay. |
