I play with mid ap - around 20ap or so - but based around a cheaper set - ie decent weapon and then cheap stuff elsewhere and no rings.
With this this cost is still low, but if you face a real person you are normally in a better position to win.
Ultimately there is no right way, just what you can afford. Some people may want to use higher arts at the start to power through some levels and get the bonus - or get the invitation back as soon as possible |
What I do is to win 2 ambush in mid ap, ad loose one in low ap.
This makes my caravans easy to handle most of the times. |
I win max. 5 battles arown with min AP, but then lose 2 with Min AP :(

I dont agrre with that!!
In my previus hero, which was lvl 15, I played double ambush with my frind and we get double hero for enemy! It is posible, but very rarely!!! It happen like 1:1kk :D |

| A good reason for using medium ap (cheap arts) is that when you lose you most likely will get a lot of fsp (0.7 or so). Since the higher the fsp is in the loss, the more the difficulty will be reduced, it's will make your next caravan a lot easier. Normally I have 4 or 5 wins in a row and then one good loss. All depends on your enemies of course ;-). |

That's not how it works. You have to lose with as many FSP gained, so losing with a sub faction (with partial castle) is certainly not going to reduce it's difficulty if you didn't lose with more than 0.3 FSP.
