As the topic says, now that MG Monsters cant lose Def or Attack, I dont see ANY kind of battle in which they could be used.
I mean, you propaply can find a use for Tier 1 creatures like Sprites, Skeletal archers, Hobgoblins... But I dont see a battle in which a Tier 2 monster like Zombies could be used with real benefits, any of their upgrades is appealing.
And if you do, you'd be sacrificing Apparitions or Vampires for a 7 Ini monster which negligible tools when it comes to giving utility or taking an enemy down.
Do they need a rework or something? |
For your level, hardly.
For CL 6 - 9, with zombie DU, but without app DU, there's.
Still for pure decay builds, they adds a quit a lot survivability. |

after raising any stack, the maximum health of the creatures reduces
zombies have higher health than ghosts (you can raise zombies more often)

in recruiting, you get more than 2 zombies for 1 ghost

everything is useful, only if you can handle it.

zombies have higher health than ghosts (you can raise zombies more often)
Ghosts are single best unit to raise because of miss so even 1 HP ghost can survive up to 3 hits...
I used to use i.zombies with dark build in ambushes. |
best fight i had with i. zomb was an mixed tourney fight
lvl 14 elves vs lvl 11 necro+lvl 10 knight+lvl 10 necro
in the end of battle full treefolk and i. zomb stack faced each other and lvl 11 necros zombs devasteted lvl 14 treefolk ... (with little help of delay)
depends on situation and build of necro if i. zombs are helpfull, most of the times i would prefer ghosts |
