i am really confused between tribal and knight ? i am at level 4 and tibal faction and i was thinking to change to knight. will it be wise ?

If i have 4 faction skill point for both knight and tribal (ignoring other guild's bonus (=) skill to the character), does it means i got:
+2 defense of troops
+2 attack of troops
+2% initiative of troops
+2 attack, +2% initiative of troops

From what I know, nope.
You get the bonus for the active faction you're playing with.
So if you were playing with a faction you're level 0 for you'd have none of those bonuses.
I could be wrong, but that's what I was told. |
Tribal.
Only thing I love about Knight is Red Knight. If played well, I feel it is the strongest faction class in this game.
I choose Tribal because it is a very sturdy faction. Especially in 3v3 Situations. Also it is easy to play. My alt was a Knight, you need to think a bit more even for simply situations. |

No - As Meshy correctly said, you get the bonuses for your active faction. So if you play as Knight or Tribal you get +1 def, + 1 atk, + 1% init, + 1 attack/+1% init. at faction levels 4. If you were to switch to another faction where you had FSL 0 - You would not have any of those bonuses. Because the bonuses are applied to your troops and not your hero, you cannot see them unless you are in battle :)

Consider the unique racial abilities - https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=38 as they may help you to decide which faction you would prefer to play. Everyone has their own opinion on which faction is better, so ultimately you need to watch knight and tribal play and come up with your own decision.
Bear in mind that if you switch from tribal to knight, you will be weaker in the short run as you are going to miss out on those Faction level bonuses that Poison Ivy mentioned in post 2. However, in the long run, it won't be an issue as your faction level is not so hugely developed yet and it will not be too hard to maintain a good faction level for another main faction.
The other thing you may want to consider is the cost of changing faction. Because the castle costs will begin to add up if you try to play more than one faction. So you may decide that it is better to stick to the current faction rather than spend the gold. |
