Author | Has someone ever lost after enabling 'Auto-Combat'...? |
What if you enable Auto Combat after you gain considerable advantage in the game. But then back to back your troops face bad luck, negative morale, minimal damage, knockbacks, stuns, etc... in short worst possible scenario.
So the question is, has anyone ever lost a combat after enabling Auto Combat? |
their problem. |
I think this situation would occur in case where enemy is wizard/charmer elf. |
My friend Usbeorn once lost against a mage demon caravan... the auto AI did a terrible job in killing the "real" troops of the demon and thus lost due to magic... |
so far, no.
if u are interested, you can try wiz to do a monster quest, ai will use magic punch instead of lightning. |

I think I've heard of a someone else losing once since it didn't take into account the raise dead necro's ability. |
It can happen with raising necro, gate demons and such.
Not if mana is out or with might factions.
Once I had step all units of a full mana necro, battle was about to end and the first thing AI did was to move all my units away and necro started to raise.
Had to take control back. :s |
I lost TG once, but I will not find a link for you :P |
against AI you can lose in many cases yeah. I had some hunts again some thousands of tier 1 creatures where I knew if I gave control to AI, my cover would be messed up and die, so I didn't. But in PvP, I doubt you'll ever lose. In any case, I think it's wise to use that button when you are on the losing side. |

@ElfMoon
Pretty much depends on the HP of the stack your wizard is aiming at.
I enable auto control on my wizards, he only casts magic punch if the stack will perish.
Other than that ice clod for max efficiency or lighting on lower hp(but not low enough for magic punch) |
