I remember they put it for some days but then removed it because some people had problems with the box.
Did they say anything about putting it back once its fixed?
Like a "We will work on it and put it back", rather than "The idea seemed to fail so its not an option anymore".
Just wondering, maybe they mentioned something about it in one of those Interviews he sometimes has.
Ty in advance. | Although I very much prefer the "box" system rather than your traditional captcha idea, I don't think the "box" system would be coming back any time soon. Primarily because, it's been a while already and if admin had any intention of bring it back, they would have done so sooner than later since it's not exactly a novel or complex structure (just needed some debugging).
Secondly, it interferes with well established scripts (which could be frequently updated) and thus may mistaking them as bot-sponsored accounts.
Of course all these are just my opinion and we never know what runs through admin's mindset. | I believe nothing has been said about it since it was introduced and removed abruptly :p
I admit that I like that method more. | I remember reading an interview in which they said something like even though this box thing didn't work out we will try to make enrolling more interesting and not just have a simple text capthca.
So yes, they are probably working on it, but I don't think it is a huge priority compared to many other things. If I remember correctly they said something like instead of find a cat it would be something like find the farmer, or find the forest keeper, something that's game related.

You changed the captcha recently but then switched back to the old one. Do you plan to make any changes to how players enroll for work?
We’ve had different thoughts about that captcha. Yes, we want to change something about it, because the way it’s done now, when you just enter that code from the image, is very primitive and it kind of robotizes you. There’s nothing exciting about going to that page to enroll just to earn some gold. We want to make it less boring. Maybe like we did for Aprils Fools’ Day, that ‘find the cat’ thing, only more LWM-themed, like ‘find the farmer’ or ‘find the skeleton.’ Not to make it difficult for players, but for bots.
